Salary Range

$62,000 - $72,000

Job Summary

As a Website Designer at Avansta, you will be a key part of our website design team, working closely with clients to deliver outstanding website projects. Our process includes:

  • Professional User-Interface Design: Create intuitive, visually appealing interfaces that enhance user experience.

  • On-Page SEO and Technical SEO: Optimize websites for search engines to improve visibility and ranking.

  • Professionally Written Website Copy: Ensure website content is engaging, informative, and aligned with client branding.

  • Responsive and Mobile Design: Develop websites that function seamlessly across all devices.

  • Web Analytics Integration: Incorporate tools to track and analyze website performance.

  • Additional HTML Integrations: Customize websites to include any specific functionalities requested by clients.


You will ensure that websites are designed for all screen sizes and provide an exceptional user experience. Additionally, you will help improve the official Avansta website through A/B testing, creating new pages, and updating existing ones.


As a start-up, we value additional skills in SEO, copywriting, web analytics, and digital marketing. We aim to scale rapidly, so we seek individuals who are open-minded, quick learners, and adaptable.


You will collaborate closely with the CEO and other team members. As we grow, you will also work with the SEO team, Copywriting Team, and report to the Acquisition Manager. Although these positions are not yet filled, they are part of our growth plan for the year.



Job Training

We believe that the best teams are well-trained and equipped with the right tools to succeed. That's why Avansta offers comprehensive training for all new hires during their first three months. Our focus is on helping you become familiar with our operational procedures and company culture before assigning you multiple projects to manage independently.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Experience in Responsive Website Design Software: Hands-on experience with WIX Studio, Elementor, Webflow, or similar tools. Familiarity with WIX Studio is particularly valued as our client websites primarily utilize this platform. Training on WIX Studio will be provided.

  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Knowledge: Understanding of on-page SEO principles and best practices to optimize website content for search engines and enhance visibility.

  • Web Analytics Integration: Experience integrating web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track website performance metrics and user behavior.

  • UI/UX Design Skills: Strong understanding of user interface design principles to create intuitive and visually appealing website layouts that enhance user experience.

  • Copywriting Skills: Basic proficiency in writing website copy that aligns with SEO strategies and effectively communicates client brand messages.


Soft Skills

  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple client projects, and meet deadlines consistently within a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills for client interactions, project briefings, and team collaboration. Responsive communication via email and Slack to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design implementation and quality assurance, ensuring websites meet Avansta's standards for functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.

  • Self-Management and Motivation: Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to team goals. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving industry trends and client requirements.

Responsibilities & Duties

Client Collaboration:

  • Meet with clients to understand their needs and vision.

  • Provide professional advice and recommendations to enhance client websites.

  • Maintain regular communication to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.


Website Design Process:

  • Follow Avansta's structured design process to deliver consistent, high-quality websites.

  • Design websites that are fully responsive and optimized for all devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.

  • Ensure all design elements adhere to current industry standards and best practices.


SEO and Technical Optimization:

  • Implement on-page SEO strategies to improve search engine ranking.

  • Address technical SEO aspects such as site structure, mobile-friendliness, and structured data.


Content Creation and Management:

  • Collaborate with copywriters to develop compelling website content.
    Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and aligns with client branding.


Web Analytics and Performance Tracking:

  • Integrate web analytics tools to monitor and analyze website performance.

  • Use data insights to make informed design and content decisions.


Avansta Website Enhancement:

  • Conduct A/B testing to identify and implement improvements to the Avansta website.

  • Develop new pages and update existing ones to reflect current trends and company growth.
